These are from my childhood and still getting played with today (by my 6 year old).
Backdoors open and there is one seat for the mailman. My son likes to jam random things in here. Marbles, change, etc.
This is an undated Tomica truck made in Japan. Scale is 1:77. Probably late 70s but I don't pretend to know truck vintages.. Anyone have an idea? (Answer from replies: Probably a Chevy K-Series)
May have seen a rollover or two in its lifetime. Still has both working doors, though!
and here's my first attempt at "light painting" with the Alfa Romeo 8C (2014):
Thanks for checking them out! You can find my two previous Vintage Hot Wheels posts: !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Very nice...love to see the old Matchbox/Hot Wheels.
I've got that same mail truck. I missed your previous post with the Good Humor & VW Golf...but just saw that link and also have the Good Humor truck. My mail truck looks much like yours, but the Good Humor truck has survived in relatively unscathed condition.

Nice, that's one of my favorites along with a Matchbox "Pan Am" Boeing 747 and a Cadillac Ambulance by Tomica from '76. The old ones are cool, from the amount of detail, to the occasional opening door or hood, and also the fact that today "Die cast Metal" model, means 90% plastic. Inflation, of course, I know, but the new ones are sometimes so disappointing. I obviously think having them "playworn" is cool, and I certainly let my son do whatever he wants with them (mostly bang them into each other and make crashing sounds....). I've been taking pics partly to document them before they are totally lost/destroyed. :)

The truck looks like it's a 73-79 Chevy K Series.
